Gucci is recognized by everyone today and with the simple utter of its name comes to mind, no longer just luggage, but clothes, accessories, shoes, jewelry and décor as well. As a brand now transitioned into the twenty-first century, they keep up with active social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and a latest addition to Snapchat.

The name continues to be iconic, however if not for the same reasons as when it was first started, like for its quality. Many celebrities, like  Rihanna, Blake Lively, Brad Pitt, Rachel McAdams, Harry Styles and Salma Hayek, have collaborated in its marketing strategies and have represented the great change in direction of Gucci’s value, serving a more contemporary style than a classic one. It has even become a phenomenon on the Internet for its being made into a meme and a popular comic topic. Stars like Lil Pump made reference to the iconicity of the name in his song ‘Gucci Gang’ or Harry Styles, who performs exclusively in Gucci made suits and recently advertised the brand through a photo shoot in late 2018.
