Carolina Herrera’s brand has grown since it first began in 1980. One year after its kick-off, the brand had already received recognition from several key publications such as ‘Women’s wear Daily’ and ‘Tatler’ this was especially because of the well-designed sleeves. Her first collection she showed at the Mercedes-Benz fashion week in New York was her ‘Ready-to-wear’ collection. Carolina Herrera’s fame got the brand to design the wedding Caroline Kennedy’s wedding gown. Which lead to the introduction of the first bridal collection.

In 1988 they launched the first fragrance. The idea of a perfume started whilst the brand was being created, when the Spanish company Puig, licensed the Carolina Herrera name to develop and create a line of perfumes. Eleven years later of the introduction of the new fragrance, the first fragrance for men was launched. And in 1999 the perfume 212 was inaugurated which lead to an increase in the sales of Carolina Herrera.

Year after year she kept opening boutiques with different types of accessories and clothes. In the line of Carolina Herrera’s famous fragrances, the most popular CH was launched in 2007. And in 2015 the first perfume collection was made called Confidential. That same year, the first advert the brand placed on television was in 2015 using the models Elisabeth Erm and Joséphine Le Tutour. The brand has grown a lot and now has not only launched clothes and fragrances but also has a line of glasses by Carolina Herrera.
