Gabrielle Coco Chanel​

Today, few people know that Gabrielle Chanel started by designing hats. She created a small black one and freed women from their corsets. Coco Chanel, actually Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel was born on 19 August 1883 in Saumur, and died on 10 January 1971 in Paris. She was a French fashion designer, since 1915 she revolutionized women's fashion, promoting simple sports-fitting clothes and unadorned short dresses.

 

Coco Chanel is one of the most famous personalities in the world of fashion. It was she who created one of the most famous design houses, although she did not have too easy beginnings. Her parents were not able to give her education and ensure her future. She secured it for herself. Her first perfumes - Chanel no. 5, which were launched in 1922 and since then have been among the most popular fragrances in the world, turned out to be a great success.

 

During the Second World War in 1940, she fled the German invasion of Vichy and then returned to Paris, where she spent the rest of the war in the Ritz Hotel, accompanied by high-profile Germans. Coco Chanel not only created cult projects, but above all she created herself. . . . from scratch.
