In the 90s models, actresses and rappers dominated the fashion scene. When Gianni Versace SpA. was created everyone who was famous or wanted to be wore Versace, because it was extravagant.

The designer’s murder shook the fashion world. At that time Gianni`s sister and muse Donatella was in charge of a diffusion label of Milan-based house called Versus. After a year of her brother´s dead, Donatella launched the first Versace Atelier Couture fashion show, proving to the world that the label was far from dead.

Two decades later, Donatella showed that Versace is still as relevant as ever at Milan Fashion Week, with a nod to the vision of his late brother. The program coincided with the 20-year anniversary of Gianni's murder, but instead of focusing on his brutal death, Donatella used the program to pay tribute to his late brother's life by resurrecting some of his legendary collections such as Warhol, Vogue, Icons, Animalia, and butterflies.
Not only the brand but also the logo has changed a lot thought the years. It started by just being the name of the founder. As it became more famous, they started changing the logo by using different littering. They change the logo radically after his death. They use the figure of the stylized Medusa surrounded by a circle with Greek edges to underline the classic style of the high-class fashion clothing of the master designer.
